Commissioning Tech
Support Services of Alaska
Zach currently works as a Commissioning Tech for Support Services of Alaska. He has worked for SSA since 2016, when he joined the team to help with data entry and project creation. Since starting, he has learned the fundamentals of commissioning from Lee Holmes (father), and JaDee Moncur, and is working towards his CxA.
Zach is a lifelong Alaskan, born and raised in Anchorage. He enjoys his role in commissioning helping the people throughout the state of Alaska in ensuring the buildings they occupy are safe, efficient, and comfortable. He has worked on over 150 projects throughout Alaska, from water treatment plants in remote villages to hospitals and military projects.
Before joining SSA, Zach competed in professional gaming on a global level. The skills learned during this were invaluable for him in the construction industry. Communication, planning, decisiveness, and team management were all important aspects of competition, and continue to be important skills in commissioning.
Zach is currently working towards his CxA, which he looks forward to using to continue helping SSA push further into the future, and helping serve owners and builders across Alaska.
