Support Services of Alaska
Nick currently works as a Project Engineer for Support Services of Alaska, specializing in Commissioning Services across the state. Although relatively new to this role, he is enthusiastic about the company’s capacity to deliver exceptional services statewide.
In his capacity as a Project Engineer and Commissioning Agent based in Fairbanks, Nick manages both small and large-scale commissioning projects. He conducts on-site verifications, ensures projects remain on schedule throughout the commissioning process, and supports the team in various capacities.
With 7 years of professional experience, Nick spent 3 years as an HVAC Engineering Specialist, focusing on HVAC control systems design, field programming, and startup, as well as serving as a technical expert during commissioning. His more recent role involved 4 years as an Industrial Controls Analyst/Manager, where he maintained SCADA and ICS systems for powerplants, water plants, electrical distribution systems, heating distribution systems, and wastewater management systems.
Born in Anchorage, Alaska, Nick moved to Talkeetna at the age of 6, fostering a lifelong passion for outdoor activities such as snowmachining, cross-country and downhill skiing, and dirt biking. He continues to spend much of his leisure time exploring Alaska’s natural beauty.
Since graduating from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, Nick’s career ambition has been to find a company where he can thrive and grow. With Support Services of Alaska and its ESOP, he feels he has found the ideal environment to achieve these goals and eagerly anticipates his future as part of The Superior Group.
