Lee currently serves as the General Manager of Support Services of Alaska (SSA) and has been with the company for 19 years. Previously, he was the Principal Mechanical Engineer for RSA Engineering. As the General Manager and Principal Commissioning Authority, Lee oversees SSA’s commissioning services and engineering projects, personally handling various projects as the CxA. He manages proposals, delegates work for SSA, and collaborates with The Superior Group on multiple projects.

With 45 years of design and construction experience, Lee has worked on projects across Alaska and in diverse locations such as Wake Island, the Azores, McMurdo Base Antarctica, and the South Pole. Before founding Support Services of Alaska in 2003, he spent 12 years as the principal mechanical engineer at RSA Engineering, Inc. Lee also worked at Raj Bhargava Associates in Anchorage before moving to Alaska in 1983 from his hometown of Casper, Wyoming.

Lee is a licensed mechanical engineer with certifications in commissioning, energy audits, and energy management from various national organizations. He relocated to Alaska shortly after visiting in the summer of 1983, raising his family of three sons in Eagle River before moving to Anchorage. Lee embraces Alaska’s recreational opportunities, enjoying activities such as snowmachining, skiing at Alyeska, telemarking in Turnagain Pass, disc golf at Kincaid, and exploring the coastal trail in Anchorage and the river walk in Fairbanks.

Driven by a commitment to advocate for project owners, he will always ask, “Why is this in the best interest of the Owner?” As a member of The Superior Group ESOP, he strives to enhance the company for current and future shareholders.
